Z Bone's Headlines For 1997

How can I even pretend to be a real e-zine without a page for headlines!? This section will contain newsworthy events related to the strip club business, especially as it pertains to Los Angeles. Events covered by the traditional media will still be in the Media Bites section. This section will be reported by myself and other reporters for Z Bone.

Well, here you go and here we go. One step closer to being just another boring e-zine. Yeah, right!

Serenity Goes Online
November 30, 1997

Serenity now has a new website at http://www.serenity-playtime.com. It is a pay site but it does have some free preview pictures of her and her tour schedule.

She will be at Spearmint Rhino, City of Industry December 4-6 and Spearmint Rhino, Oxnard December 11-13. As per my review of her, she is one incredible dancer. She has some moves that you have never seen before at a strip club.

She will also be at CES again this year signing for Wicked and Deja Vu (she's their publisher). To top it off, she will be choreographing the AVN Awards show again this year.

Exotica Moves
November 24, 1997

Exotica has moved to a new location near the old location. Their new address is 15619 E. Valley Blvd., still in the City of Industry. Their phone number is still (626) 968-4434.

Miss Kitty Gets a Facelist
November 5, 1997

Miss Kitty's has gotten a complete facelift and has re-opened today. It is rumored that the new stage and the rest of the club has been updated to compete with all the new nude clubs near by. Miss Kitty's is topless with alcohol and is located at 13079 E. Valley Blvd. in the City of Industry. Their number is (626) 336-1453.

Judge Negates Law Restricting Strip Clubs
August 28, 1997

Simi Valley has been fighting to make sure that they don't have strip clubs. However, a federal court judge has ruled in favor of letting one open. Good news for customers but probably bad news for dancers. There are already too many clubs in LA. For the full LA Times story, click here.

Penthouse Pen Andi Sue Irwin at Gentlemen's Club
February 25, 1997

Penthouse 1996 Pet of the Year, Andi Sue Irwin will be at The Gentleman's Club from February 25 thru March 1. Showtimes are 1pm, 9pm, 12 and midnight.

Felecia to Feature at Bob's Classy Lady
February 6, 1997

Felecia is scheduled to feature at Bob's on February 20 thru 22, 1997. Last time she was scheduled, she nixed out so I hope she makes it this time. As you all probably already know, I'm a big fan of hers so you know I'll be there.

In related news, Jenna Jameson will be featuring at Bob's from February 13 - 15 for the first time. I've never seen her feature but I've heard she's got a hot act. Might have to go twice this month.

Rhino Comes Charging into City of Industry
February 5, 1997

As reported in my Gossip Section earlier, Spearmint Rhino has opened a club in the City of Industry. They are planning a grand opening party on February 20 from 6:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. They have both a bookstore and nude dance club. Christy Canyon will be there for the grand opening. Their address is 15411 East Valley Blvd., just west of Hacienda on the north side of the street. Phone is (818) 336-6892.

Summer Leigh on Spectator Cover
January 17, 1997

Bob's Classy Lady Features Blondage
December 19-21, 1996

Blondage (Julia Ann & Janine) featured at Bob's Classy Lady on the weekend before Christmas. Bob's also held their annual X-mas party on December 19th with free food and 25 cent drinks. Personally, I love this 25 cent deal because unlike make nude clubs, Bob's actually has a good selection of drinks to choose from. In case you don't know about Blondage, read my review.

Industrial Strip 2 Opens With Protesters
November 22, 1996

Chan 7 VanIndustrial Strip has opened their second club in Los Angeles near Glendale. Before the opening, the area residents protested the opening which got the attention of some of the local TV stations. Channel 7 and 2 Spanish stations were out in force broadcasting live from across the street from the club. In the strip club business, bad publicity can be better than good publicity. You can't buy TV advertising like this.

For more information, read my new review of this amazing club. Too bad the dancers are not ready for prime time yet.

Z Bone Celebrates First Anniversary
November 15, 1996

As of October 27, we have finally made it to our one year anniversary. It's hard to believe one year has gone by already. Thanks for my many fans and supporters as well as my new advertisers. Hopefully, we'll keep going for a few more years.

Felecia Replaced With Tonisha Mills
November 6, 1996

Unfortunately (for me), Felecia canceled out of her feature schedule at Bob's Classy Lady. That's what I get for getting excited.

Summer Wins Deja Vu Showgirl of the Year '96
October 30, 1996

The annual finals were held at the Deja Vu (North Hollywood) on October 17, 1996. Summer (Z Bone's Dancer of the Month) won this prestigious award (not to mention the $10,000.00 first prize) by competing against dancers from all the Deja Vus in the US. Congratulations goes out to her from all her fans (including myself). Keep an eye out for her to be featured in their Showgirl Magazine.

If you want to catch her at Deja Vu, you'd better hurry up because she is going on a nation-wide feature tour for Deja Vu corporate starting in a few weeks. If you want to keep in touch with her, you can join her fan club by sending snail mail to:

Adult Video Star Felecia to Feature at Bob's
October 30, 1996

Bob's Classy Lady will be featuring Felecia (see my Diary) on November 14-16, 1996 for the first time for her in Los Angeles. She's a real sweetheart off stage and I look forward to see her at Bob's.
